Episode 1
Sandi Toksvig hosts as amateur crafters compete to transform a mini mansion. The miniaturists make busts and a Regency dining room.
Episode 2
The nine remaining miniaturists tackle art deco design, working against the clock to create miniature toiletries befitting a 1920s bathroom. The two winners of this first challenge will lead the next test - building the bathroom itself, which must include a bath with running water.
Episode 3
The eight remaining miniaturists create a Victorian nursery full of tiny toys, a pram, a puppet theatre, a rocking horse and a doll's house within the doll's house.
Episode 4
The seven miniaturists tackle an Elizabethan bedroom, which must contain a bed, fireplace, writing desk and a musical instrument. They also create period-appropriate accessories.
Episode 5
The miniaturists tackle the most ambitious build to date - a two-floored Rococo hallway including a mural, console table and chaise longue, as well as accessories for a Masquerade.
Episode 6
The five remaining miniaturists tackle an Edwardian games room, containing a billiard table, display cabinet and indoor plant. Plus, Sandi visits Polesden Lacey in the Surrey Hills.
Episode 7
The miniaturists must create a Georgian kitchen in the semi-final, spanning the width of the mini mansion. The maker of the week has an automatic place in the final.
Episode 8
In the final round, the miniaturists create a statement period piece before designing their dream room for the mini mansion.
